A unique opportunity to spend a day experiencing Falconry, the 'Sport of Kings'.

You will be introduced to the magnificent birds - each with its own individual personality and character.

Experience the thrill of seeing a bird flying free and returning on command to your gloved fist.

Situated at Castell Malgwyn Country Hotel you can experience all the comfort of lunch and afternoon tea at the country house hotel whilst having the challenge of learning this ancient country sport.

Photo opportunities are available throughout the day so don't forget to bring your camera to capture those special moments - reminder of a captivating day!

Our team of experienced falconers will give you a brief and informal history of falconry before guiding you through the equipment used and the basic handling techniques.

The afternoon is spent flying the birds in the beautiful hotel grounds and you will experience the thrill of seeing your bird flying free and returning on your command to the gloved fist.

The day concludes by seeing a bird hunting over local farmland.
